question - otázka se tvoří velmi jednoduše, změní se pouze pořadí podmětu a tvaru slovesa TO BE
am I listening
are you listening
is he listening
is she listening
is it listening

negative form - zápor se vytvoří přidáním částice NOT ke tvaru slovesa TO BE

Použití průběhového přítomného času:
přítomný průběhový popisuje právě probíhající děj - aktivity: He is having a shower just now.
na rozdíl od prostého tvaru He enjoys parties, ve kterém se mluví o OPAKOVANÉ ČINNOSTI, v průběhovém tvaru He is enjoying the party se mluví o JEDNÉ KONKRÉTNÍ AKTIVITĚ
přitomný průběhový tvar se používá i k vyjádření budoucnosti - FUTURE ARRANGEMENT = připravená budoucnost: She's seeing the dentist in the afternoon.
